Flow Stone: A Beer Carved By Nature
In Margaret River, the story of the land runs deeper than what you see on the surface. Beneath the vineyards, forests and coastlines lie an ancient world of limestone caves, slowly shaped over millions of years by water, time and mineral-rich flow.
Our latest release, Flow Stone, is inspired by just that.
The Inspiration Beneath Our Feet
If you've ever stepped into one of the regions caves - like Lake Cave or Jewel Cave - you've seen flowstone in action. These smooth, rippling rock formations form as mineral-rich water trickles over cave walls, leaving behind layers of calcite that build up over thousands of years.
It's a process that's:
- Slow and deliberate - some formations grow less than a millimetre per year
- Layered and complex - each band tells a story of changing conditions
- Naturally beautiful - organic curves, textures and tones shaped entirely by nature
That same sense of depth, texture and balance is what we wanted to capture in this beer.

Flow Stone
Style: Oat Cream IPA
ABV: 6.5%
Bitterness: 5/10
Flow Stone is a Hazy IPA brewed with generous amounts of oats and lactose, creating a beer that's all about texture and balance.
Flavour: Ripe, juicy pineapple leads all the way, layered with a gentle herbal bitterness and rounded by a smooth, creamy sweetness.
Aroma: Tropical fruit bursts forward, lifted by bright notes of lemon zest
Mouthfeel: Full-bodied, creamy and velvety - like the smooth curves of flowstone itself.
Brewing with texture in mind
Just as flowstone forms through the gradual layering of minerals, this beer is built through thoughtful layering of ingredients.
- Oats bring softness and body
- Lactose adds that signature creamy sweetness
- Hops deliver juicy tropical notes with a restrained bitterness
The result is a beer that feels as much as it tastes - rich, rounded and incredibly drinkable.
A reflection of place
Margaret River isn't just where we brew - it's what shapes everything that we do. From the rugged coastline to the hidden cave systems below, the region is defined by contrast, complexity and natural beauty.
Flow Stone is our way of putting that all into a can. A reminder that some of the most remarkable things take time to form - and when they do they're worth experiencing slowly.
